Mark started coming to ARCC, then ACC in 1989. Mark has been a board member at different times, and is currently chairperson. He and Alan had a civil union service as part of celebrating Serge and Bacchus in our service in October 2004.
He has been a counselor for Outline for more than 20 years. He has played Bridge at the Gay Games and Outgames, and regularly competes in NZ Bridge tournaments. Mark works as a theological librarian. Mark has been involved with Anglican churches in Auckland.
Allyson is passionate about creating positive social change for rainbow and disability communities. Allyson has been on the Local Advisory Committee (LAC) of the Auckland branch of CCS Disability Action since 2010. She has been on the Board of OutlineNZ for 6 years. It’s a privilege be on the board of Auckland Rainbow Community Church
I am a historian, who prior to retirement in January 2019 taught and researched at Massey University, New Zealand.
Specialties: Historian of religion, especially Protestant Christianity in England and the religious history of New Zealand.
I was made a Member of the Order of New Zealand in the New Years honours list of 2019 for services to religious history and the community.
